Do I need to see the Hygienist?

We recommend that all our patients see Barbara Swan, our Hygienist, for an annual 30 minute appointment. She not only removes the scale and staining on the teeth but by using ultrasonics, actually kills a large number of bacteria around the gums which are responsible for dental diseases. She will also offer advice and help on all aspects of achieving and maintaining good mouth health.
